After almost 41 years of service, including over 16 years as a board member, we bid farewell to Matthias Bunger, a true Bremer with a clear course and North German pragmatism, on 30.06.2025, as he enters his well-deserved retirement. He always steered the cooperative with a steady hand, even in rough seas, never forgetting which way the wind blows.
We say thank you for decades of commitment, loyalty, and humanity.
Now he trades the helm for the steering wheel - and embarks on a great journey with the motorhome. We will miss him greatly, but of course wish him all the best and above all, continued good health for all that lies ahead.
At the same time, we welcome Andreas Grzib, who has been leading the sales department of DTG for over a year and will be appointed as Matthias Bunger's successor to the board of DTG from 01.07.2025 onwards. He will now take over the management of the cooperative together with Roberto Spranzi.
We wish him a successful start as a board member and look forward to the joint journey into a new stage!
At this year's
General Meeting on May 31, 2025 in Travemünde, Mr. Reinhold Scheermann
handed over the chairmanship of the Supervisory Board after 18 years and retired from the Supervisory Board due to age. In total, he was active in the Supervisory Board of the predecessor cooperatives and then in the DTG for 40 years.
Following the
General Assembly, the members of the Supervisory Board elected Mr. Carsten Küster as the new chairman in their constitutive meeting. Mr. Volker
Westedt is the 2nd chairman. The remaining members of the Supervisory Board remained unchanged.
We say thank you to Mr. Reinhold Scheermann! He has always been and still is wholeheartedly committed, not only representing but living the cooperative idea - with conviction, a clear compass, and always in the spirit of community. We are pleased that he will remain a "passive" member for us, as his contribution remains noticeable to us even in the background.
Our dispatcher speaks with the NRZ about her role as a woman in the "male domain" of inland shipping - a strong voice and role model for confident young talents, we believe.
Read the articleWe are pleased that our former colleague Felicia Wittig returned to DTG on 01.04.2025 after more than 3 years and will actively support our team in the accounting department. We are pleased with this decision and look forward to further cooperation with her.
