My name is Sofie Niedermayer, I am 26 years old, I come from Germany and I am looking for an apprenticeship to become an inland shipper. The three-year retraining programme is part of a subsidised measure from the employment agency - this means that there are no costs for you as a training company. You provide the place and accompany me professionally - everything else is completely organised by the agency.
What I bring:
-Skipper's service book and
- Initial practical experience
- Good knowledge of German and English
- Reliability, team spirit, and genuine enthusiasm for working on board
What I am looking for is not an adventure, but a solid training environment with people who know their trade and are happy to pass on their knowledge - preferably in a family-run company.
Important for you:
The apprenticeship runs regularly over three years.
There must be a person on board who has a training licence.
The company has no financial obligations - it is only a matter of providing professional support.
If you can imagine accompanying a dedicated and eager trainee on her journey as an inland shipper, I would be delighted to hear from you!
